Images are essential to the design of the website. They are a must so they will
be attractive to the eyes of internet users. The dilemma of webmasters though
is that search engines will not be able to use any of the information that will be
placed in the images.

Movies and animations are at the same stage like the images. They are very
friendly to the users but are not SEO optimal for the search engines. Flash
movies for site introductions are eye catchers but you can imagine how search
engines will miss all of the embedded contents.

Search engines view one URL as a single page. When frames are used by web
designers, search engines get confused because a framed page may actually
share a single URL but contain several web pages. They can still be indexed by
the search engines but it serves as a challenge for them. The evolution of the
internet paved the way for less and lesser use of frames in web designs.
